Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks an experienced mainframe professional to monitor, install, configure, administer, troubleshoot and maintain complex technology solutions. You will provide technical support and scripting to ensure stable operations and drive automation and process improvements.

You will lead initiatives, oversee work results, collaborate with IT and business partners, and participate in disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with multiple technologies and their interfaces
Experience in environments highly integrated with an OS
Experience implementing and administering large-scale systems
Strong critical thinking to align solutions with business objectives
Ability to manage tasks independently and learn from feedback
Excellent communication of technical information
Adaptability to rapidly changing environments
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Experience using Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

Monitor, install, configure, administer, troubleshoot and maintain technology solutions
Provide technical support and scripting/programming for stable operations
Lead automation and process improvement initiatives
Manage operations for complex systems/applications and respond to escalations
Develop tactical strategies, procedures and documentation for administration
Collaborate with IT and business partners on projects
Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises
Adhere to architectural standards and blueprints
Perform on-call duties as needed
