Job summary

Ensono seeks a Mainframe Systems Programmer – Network to support and enhance client mainframe network environments in the United States. You will plan, implement, and maintain VTAM, TCP/IP, and related software, while diagnosing issues and supporting client discussions.

The role requires 5+ years of mainframe networking experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong communication. You will participate in upgrades and automation efforts, contributing to cost reductions and efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ mainframe networking experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to prioritize and balance tasks with team and clients.
• Experience leading and managing system programming projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and maintain mainframe network software (VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP).
• Diagnose, resolve, and document mainframe network problems.
• Adhere to ITIL, Change and Problem Management processes.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, peers, clients and leadership.
• Maintain system availability and performance per service agreements.
• Monitor and report on system and product performance.
