Job summary

Axians Brussels seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, evolve, automate, and optimize complex network and data center environments supporting European Institutions. You will combine networking expertise with automation, cloud, security, and modern infrastructure technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Daily tasks include design, evaluation, PoCs, migrations, capacity planning, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with networking, telecommunications, and data center technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, VPNs, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, campus and data center networks.
• Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python, CI/CD, IaC).
• Knowledge of cloud and container technologies (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, web security, and load balancing.
• EU Citizenship and based in Brussels.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and improve network and infrastructure solutions.
• Perform technical studies, PoCs, and testing.
• Support capacity planning, migrations, and deployments.
• Monitor network performance and propose improvements.
• Support network automation and automated deployments.
• Provide expertise to internal teams and users.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure network services.
