Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for global data-center networking. You will work with Python and modern IaC tools to provision, test, and operate scalable networks at scale.

You will collaborate with network, platform, and security teams to deliver reliable automation, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to evolving best practices in software-defined networking and observability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development and network engineering.
• Strong Python skills and experience with network automation.
• Experience with IaC tools and modern automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for network provisioning and lifecycle management across global infrastructure.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions to ensure scalable and maintainable automation.
• Develop Python software and leverage Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2 for network designs and IaC practices.
• Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments.
• Build APIs and tooling to expose networking capabilities as self-service interfaces for engineering teams.
• Implement observability and telemetry workflows for network performance and reliability.
