Job summary

Quantum Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure with emphasis on Arista EOS, spine-leaf architecture, and Palo Alto security.

This role serves as a senior resource for network operations and architecture improvements, mentoring juniors and leading complex initiatives. The position is based at the Dublin, OH campus with hybrid flexibility and may allow remote work anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise firewall and data center networks.
• Experience designing and supporting Arista EOS and CloudVision environments.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and cloud security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support enterprise switching environments using Arista EOS.
• Support spine-leaf data center architecture, including MLAG, VLANs, VRFs, routing, and high availability.
• Manage network infra using Arista CloudVision, including configuration management and upgrades.
• Lead troubleshooting for Layer 2/3, firewall, VPN, and routing issues.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls and manage policy through Strata Cloud Manager.
• Review and optimize firewall rules for security and performance.
• Support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static) and failover designs.
• Assist with network segmentation, migrations, and cloud connectivity projects.
• Provide escalation support for incidents and security events.
• Develop network standards, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
• Lead change management with risk analysis and rollback plans.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, service desk, and vendors to deliver projects.
• Mentor junior engineers with technical guidance and reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, visibility, and automation.
