Job summary

Saronic Technologies Inc. seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead design, deployment, and management of our enterprise network infrastructure. You will work across multiple locations to ensure security, performance, and high availability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Aruba wireless, and Palo Alto firewalls, along with proficiency in SolarWinds and VPN configurations. Collaboration with cloud teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise network engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proficient with Cisco Catalyst switches and Aruba wireless technologies.
• Experience configuring Palo Alto Networks firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience in hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure network solutions.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst and Aruba wireless infrastructure across locations.
• Manage perimeters with Palo Alto firewalls; configure VPNs.
• Monitor health and performance using SolarWinds; respond to alerts.
• Lead upgrades, network segmentation, and expansions with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate networks with cloud/hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues; conduct root-cause analysis for network problems.
• Document topology, IP schemas, and operational procedures.
• Ensure security compliance and assist audits.
