Job summary

Agile Defense is hiring for network engineers and architects to design, build, and sustain critical government network infrastructure in Ashburn, VA. You will work across routing, switching, WAN/LAN, wireless, segmentation and firewalls in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco/Juniper/Arista).

Active CBP Background Investigation and EOD are preferred; citizenship is required. A $10,000 signing bonus applies for candidates with an active CBP BI, payable after 90 days. Travel is as needed.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active CBP Background Investigation (CBP BI) and EOD strongly preferred; we can begin processing for candidates who do not hold one.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
• Location: Ashburn, VA
• You have kept a distributed network running where downtime had consequences beyond user frustration.
• You have operated in mixed-vendor environments and are not dependent on one vendor's tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain network infrastructure across sites.
• Work on routing, switching, WAN/LAN transport, wireless, segmentation, and firewalls in a mixed Cisco, Juniper, and Arista environment.
• Collaborate with field deployment teams, cloud engineers, and security staff to deliver mission-critical networks.
