Mirantis, an IREN company, seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and operate the network and physical infrastructure for AI labs and corporate environments. The role spans datacenter, colo, and cloud interconnects with on-site work in Silicon Valley.

You will partner with IT, Security, and engineering teams to implement high‑throughput, secure networking, automation, and clear documentation. This is a hands-on, on-site position requiring strong collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years in a Network Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating switching and routing in datacenter/colocation environments.
• Experience with firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation; on-site hardware work and remote hands coordination.
• Willingness to work on-site in Silicon Valley and coordinate with Europe-based engineers.

Responsabilidades

• AI Labs Network Architecture & Operations: Design, build, and operate the network fabric for internal AI labs and scale it as demand grows.
• Datacenter & Colocation Infrastructure: Own physical/logical infrastructure at SV datacenter, with cross-connects and power/port planning.
• Server & Hardware Support: Rack, cable, firmware/BMC management, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Corporate & Campus Networking: Manage offices, LAN/WLAN, remote access, and cloud interconnects.
• Network Security & Segmentation: Implement baselines with firewall policies and least-privilege controls.
• Monitoring, Observability & Capacity: Deploy monitoring and capacity planning across all environments.
• Standards, Documentation & Automation: Create runbooks, standards, and IaC to automate operations.
• Incident Response & On-Call: Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
