Mirantis, Inc. in Silicon Valley seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and operate the network and physical infrastructure for internal AI labs and the broader company.

You’ll work hands-on at a local datacenter and coordinate with teams across IT, Security, and Engineering to scale a robust, secure, and high‑throughput network platform. You will own datacenter networking, cage/colocation fabric, and cross‑connects while maintaining the corporate network and cloud interconnects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Network Engineering role with core networking.
• Experience designing/operating datacenter networking (spine/leaf, VLANs, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP/OSPF).
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• On-site datacenter work and ability to coordinate remote hands.
• IaC/scripting for network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong security fundamentals and incident management.
• GPU/AI cluster networking experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate the network fabric for internal AI labs.
• Own datacenter/colocation infrastructure at Silicon Valley and other sites.
• Provide hands-on server and datacenter hardware support on-site.
• Maintain corporate and campus networking with secure access.
• Establish standards, runbooks, and automation for the networking function.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident reviews.
