Job summary

GloComms is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, automate, and support high‑performance network infrastructure powering large-scale compute environments. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across data centers, cloud platforms, colocation, and HPC clusters.

The role emphasizes hands‑on engineering, automation, and operational excellence, with collaboration across infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise, cloud, or data center network environments.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN.
• Experience with WAN, SD-WAN and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with network automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, observability, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support large-scale network infrastructure across enterprise and data center environments.
• Drive initiatives focused on network scalability, availability, and overall performance.
• Support network architecture and ongoing infrastructure enhancements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network operations in production environments.
• Improve service reliability and operational efficiency through proactive support and process improvements.
• Leverage automation and infrastructure management tools to streamline deployments and ongoing administration.
• Promote secure, compliant, and resilient networking practices.
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to support business and technology objectives.
• Contribute technical expertise through documentation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
