Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is recruiting a Senior Network Engineer for a Seattle-based capital project in the life sciences sector. The role focuses on deploying FortiGate firewalls, managing VPNs and security policies, and supporting Aruba wireless networks across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has hands-on FortiGate experience, strong knowledge of Aruba switching/wireless, and proficiency with SolarWinds, PRTG, and FortiAnalyzer. Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (Fortigate 6.x/7.x).
• Solid understanding of Aruba wireless platforms and ArubaOS.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Aruba Central, FortiAnalyzer.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex L2/L3 and security issues and produce clear documentation.

Senior Network Engineer – US, Seattle – Contract – Life Sciences Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to support their capital project in Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant and we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations.

What you’ll deliver:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls across multiple sites
• Manage security policies, NAT, routing, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and high-availability clusters
• Monitor and tune intrusion prevention (IPS), web filtering, antivirus, and application control
• Design, deploy, and support Aruba wireless networks (Instant or ArubaOS)

Experience required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
• Solid understanding of Aruba wireless and switching platforms
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Aruba Central, FortiAnalyzer)
