Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of network engineering experience with strong hands-on architecture and implementation skills.
• Expert-level Fortinet experience with designing and deploying full Fortinet environments.
• Strong knowledge of next-generation firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and network security.
• Experience with SASE and Zero Trust technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, configure, and implement enterprise network infrastructure, with emphasis on Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Lead upgrades and implementations involving next-generation firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE technologies.
• Configure and manage Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and related solutions.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, and network security.
• Assist with network integrations related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Support VoIP infrastructure and cloud telephony migrations.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, optimize performance, and maintain security.
• Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end from design through implementation.

Salary: $130,000-$140,000

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network and security infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in modernizing the organization's Fortinet environment, implementing next-generation firewalls, and supporting network integrations and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert who can independently architect and implement network solutions, lead complex infrastructure projects, and thrive in a smaller IT environment where versatility and ownership are essential.

• Independently design, configure, and implement enterprise network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Lead upgrades and implementations involving next-generation firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE technologies.

• Understanding of SASE and Zero Trust technologies; experience with Zscaler, Cato Networks, or Fortinet SASE is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco networking, routing protocols, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX, or cloud telephony solutions.
• Experience with AWS or Azure networking is preferred.
• M&A network integration experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take full ownership of technical solutions.
