Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Network Security Operations & Engineering in Raleigh, NC. The role oversees strategy, engineering, and operations for critical network security and internet infrastructure platforms, including Akamai CDN, DNS, DHCP, and WAF.

The candidate will manage a high-performing team, set objectives, and drive modernization, automation, and reliable service delivery across enterprise services supporting internal users and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, or infrastructure engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical engineering and operations teams.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, domain management, SSL/TLS certificate management, and WAFs.
• Experience with Akamai CDN and security solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of network security and infrastructure engineers.
• Develop roadmaps and architectural standards for secure, available enterprise services.
• Own platform ownership for Akamai CDN, certificate management, DNS, DHCP, and WAF platforms.
• Ensure 24x7 operational readiness and service reliability for internet-facing services.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and health management initiatives.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic technology initiatives.
