Job summary

Notified in Woburn, MA is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own and optimize Akamai CDN, WAF, and edge security for mission-critical apps. You will architect, automate, and operate Akamai services, leveraging IaC, APIs, and cloud platforms to deliver secure, scalable edge solutions.

You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps groups to improve reliability, performance, and security posture, while driving self-service tooling and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Site Reliability/Platform/DevOps roles.
• 3+ years with Akamai CDN/WAF in large-scale environments.
• Experience with Terraform and API-based automation.
• Strong cloud knowledge in Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Operate enterprise Akamai CDN/WAF, DNS, and edge security at scale.
• Automate configurations and deployments via Terraform and APIs.
• Develop self-service capabilities for edge platform resources.
• Lead SRE practices: monitoring, SLOs, incident reviews, and reliability.
• Collaborate across engineering, security and DevOps teams.
