Qualifications

• B.S. in related field and 5+ years' relevant IT experience (preferred) or 7+ years' relevant IT experience.
• Firewall experience.
• Knowledge of what constitutes a 'threat' to a network.
• Experience and understanding with Windows Server in Host/Compute Environments and Windows Server images.
• Experience with storage solutions, high availability, DNS, DHCP, remote access, core and distributed network solutions, advanced network infrastructure, and maintaining and monitoring server environments.

Responsibilities

• Design LAN, CAN, WAN data, voice and video architecture.
• Configure and implement routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Analyze networking metrics and identify sub-par performance.
• Develop reports and trend analyses on bandwidth and network security incidents.
• Troubleshoot intrusion devices and IA tools for DoD/commercial networks.
• Administer advanced Cisco products such as VoIP and related tech.
• Provide training and mentorship to contractors and government personnel.
