This mission‑focused role combines strategic network architecture with lab testing, security accreditation activities, and detailed documentation to ensure reliable delivery of critical services. You will collaborate with operations teams to resolve complex issues.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliance required.
• Hands-on router engineering/operations experience.
• Experience with MPLS WAN architecture and WAN services development.
• 16+ years combined education and professional experience or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop MPLS WAN service solutions.
• Evaluate, integrate, and test networking equipment in labs.

• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and specs.

Take2 Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer to support a federal government customer's global enterprise networks. In this mission-focused role, you will help modernize enterprise network architecture, engineer MPLS WAN solutions, and ensure dependable delivery of critical network services. This opportunity combines strategic network design with hands‑on router engineering and advanced operational support.

What You Will Do

• Own and evolve the overall architecture of enterprise Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Networks (WAN).
• Design and develop MPLS WAN service solutions aligned with customer requirements and network modernization objectives.
• Evaluate, integrate, and test networking equipment and solutions in lab environments.
• Support network security accreditation activities in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, engineering specifications, test results, and other technical documentation.
• As needed, provide Tier 4 production troubleshooting and develop proactive network analysis solutions to support operations teams.
• Apply practical, hands‑on router engineering and operational expertise to complex enterprise networking challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph (required).
• Compliance with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements.
• Hands‑on experience in router engineering and/or router operations.
• Experience with MPLS WAN architecture and development of WAN services solutions.
• Sixteen (16) years of combined education and professional experience, using one of the equivalencies below.
