Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer to support a federal government customer's global enterprise networks, focusing on MPLS WAN design and hands-on router engineering.

This mission‑focused role combines strategic network architecture with lab testing, security accreditation activities, and detailed documentation to ensure reliable delivery of critical services. You will collaborate with operations teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliance required.
• Hands-on router engineering/operations experience.
• Experience with MPLS WAN architecture and WAN services development.
• 16+ years combined education and professional experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise MPLS WAN architecture.
• Design and develop MPLS WAN service solutions.
• Evaluate, integrate, and test networking equipment in labs.
• Support security accreditation activities with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and specs.
• Provide Tier 4 production troubleshooting and proactive analysis.
• Apply hands-on router engineering to complex enterprise networks.
