Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Network Designer to support government customers with global enterprise networks from our Springfield, VA office. The Design Engineer will support our government customers' global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.

• Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture
• Developing MPLS WAN services solution
• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
• Assisting with the security accreditation process
• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation
• On an as-needed basis, supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing proactive network analysis solutions for the operations team

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
• Experience & Education: Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education (Doctorate + 8 years, Bachelor's + 12 years, Associate's + 14 years, or High School Diploma + 16 years)
• Certifications: Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 required
• Technical Experience: Hands-on router engineering and/or operation experience
• Salary Range: $128, 000 – $145, 000 (A good-faith estimate reflecting various experience levels, skills, geographic location, and contractual requirements)
