Ross Stores is seeking a seasoned Capital Construction Project Manager to coordinate and execute distribution center expansion projects from concept to completion. You will analyze costs, prepare funding requests, and oversee design, bid, and vendor evaluation processes while coordinating with Supply Chain and external agencies.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring on-time delivery with quality standards in a fast-paced retail distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Material Handling Systems project management and/or facility operations.
• Strong understanding and experience with automated material handling systems and equipment.
• Experience in new distribution center start-up is required.
• Demonstrated track record in supply chain roles and project management including budgeting.

Responsabilités

• Drive design, specification and bid review for supply chain projects, including estimates and funding requests.
• Oversee facility construction and MHE installation quality, drawings and acceptance testing.
• Manage in-house resources and contractors; set schedules and budgets to meet deadlines.
• Provide regular project progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate commissioning, testing and training plans for startup of facilities or systems.
• Ensure effective communication across contractor PMs, IT and Network Strategy.
