Job summary

Evolv Technologies Inc. in Waltham, MA, seeks a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and defend our network infrastructure and security tooling. You’ll own Evolv's security posture—from firewalls to identity governance—reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity & Technology.

You will reduce risk, mature the security program, and partner with IT, Legal/Compliance, and R&D. This is a hands-on, senior IC role with a 3-days-on-site hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and security tooling.
• Administer identity and access platforms (Okta, Entra ID) and CA policies.
• Own MDR relationship and respond to detections.
• Harden cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and runbooks.
• Document architecture, processes, and runbooks.
