Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and defend our network infrastructure and security tooling.

You will own Evolv's network and security posture across firewalls, identity governance, and threat detection, reporting to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity & Technology. You will collaborate with IT and Legal/Compliance, drive security maturity, and maintain runbooks and documentation while advancing the MDR relationship and

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining network infrastructure and security tooling.
• Ability to manage identity, access, and governance across platforms.
• Experience with security frameworks (CIS Controls, NIST CSF) and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switching, NAC, and VPN/ZTNA.
• Administer identity and access: Okta/Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, IAM lifecycle, IGA.
• Own security tooling and controls: SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management; align with frameworks.
• Manage MDR relationship and respond to detections.
• Redesign IT processes to meet compliance requirements with Legal/Compliance.
• Harden AWS/Azure environments with IAM least-privilege and network security.
