Curative seeks a Senior Contracting Specialist to oversee the development and management of insurance networks, focusing on affordability and quality while negotiating with provider groups across the region.

You will manage large physician and ancillary provider negotiations, build strategic relationships, and collaborate with Claims, Medical Management, Credentialing, Legal, and Compliance to optimize network performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years in provider contracting/health insurance.
• Experience contracting with physician groups and ancillary providers.
• Strong negotiation, contract language, and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to build external provider relationships and manage key partnerships.
• Experience with managed care delivery systems and provider business models.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with large physician groups and ancillary providers.
• Address coding structures impacted by negotiations within contracts.
• Nurture provider partnerships to support local market strategy.
• Collaborate with Claims, Medical Management, Credentialing, Legal, and Compliance.
• Meet unit cost targets while maintaining network adequacy.
• Explore initiatives to reduce total medical costs and renegotiate terms.
• Prepare financial impact analyses of high spend contracts.
• Oversee provider compensation and pricing development activities.
• Resolve elevated provider service issues in collaboration with partners.
