Job summary

Capital One's Network Compliance team seeks a Senior Manager, Compliance Advisory to strengthen risk management for the network and merchant businesses, ensuring alignment with Capital One's enterprise risk framework and global regulatory expectations.

The role provides expert advice, collaborates with Legal, Audit and business leaders, and shapes compliance strategy for new products and partnerships across the US, balancing independent work with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years developing, evaluating or implementing technology or risk assessment activities.
• At least 8 years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR 7+ years regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory and challenge on network/merchant risks to business processes.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Audit, and first/second line functions to apply the risk framework.
• Assist in expanding products and business relationships with new downstream entities.
