Job summary

Charles River Associates International is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our global ITS team in managing secure enterprise networks spanning on-premises, cloud, and data center environments. You will design, implement, and document network infrastructure, work with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms, and collaborate across CRA offices worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have CCNA or higher certs, 4–6 years in professional services networking, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Master's desirable) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
4-6 years relevant work experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
Current Cisco certification at CCNA level or above; CCNP preferred; Azure and AWS certs highly desired.

Responsibilities

Design, install, configure, test, document, and maintain secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network, wireless, firewall, DNS, and connectivity issues.
Produce and maintain Microsoft Visio network diagrams, implementation plans, configuration standards, and as-built documentation.
Administer management platforms for visibility, configuration, assurance, and lifecycle activities.
Plan and execute upgrades with minimal disruption and tested rollback procedures.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training for network resource administration and disaster recovery.
Monitor network performance and provide statistics, reports, and recommendations.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to deliver projects and resolve incidents.
Travel to other CRA offices or client sites may be required; some out-of-hours work will be needed.
