Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to lead design, development, and maintenance of network deployment applications. You will build full-stack services using Python/Java/JS/Node.js, embrace Kubernetes and IaC, and drive automation and observability across global network fabric.

You will operate within Agile teams, perform security reviews, and mentor other engineers, applying AI fundamentals to improve efficiency and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub and IaC.
• AI fundamentals and practical application to automation.
• Networking fundamentals and experience with open network platforms.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior/lead solution engineer for design, development, and support of network deployment applications.
• Design and build full-stack apps/services using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes.
• Work in Agile teams, participate in sprints, backlogs, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build/test/deploy processes.
• Conduct security reviews and peer code reviews of deployments.
• Incorporate AI tooling and ML techniques to improve automation and anomaly detection.
• Develop and enhance open network deployment capabilities for Dell SONiC, Cisco ACI, Arista.
• Build observability into applications with metrics, logging, and telemetry.
• Embed security into SDLC and participate in incident management.
