Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a senior Solutions Engineer to lead the design, development, and support of the internally hosted network deployment applications. You will build full-stack services using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes, applying infrastructure-as-code to automate deployment and lifecycle management across global network components.

You will work in Agile teams, drive automation, enforce security, and contribute to observability and reliability of the NARRS

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Acts as senior/lead solution engineer for design, development and support of network deployment applications.
• Designs and builds full-stack apps using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes.
• Works within Agile teams and drives continuous improvement in velocity and performance.
• Manages source control, branching and CI/CD workflows in GitHub; automates build/test/deploy.
• Performs security reviews and peer code reviews prior to deployment; enforces standards.
• Incorporates AI fundamentals to advance automation and observability in applications.
• Develops and enhances deployment capabilities across Dell SONiC, Cisco ACI and Arista environments.
• Builds observability into applications with metrics, logging and telemetry.
• Maintains security throughout the SDLC and participates in incident management.
• Mentors staff and promotes cross-functional collaboration across networking teams.
