Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a senior Solutions Engineer to provide leadership in design, development, and support of network deployment and administration applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a technical or business discipline with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for source control, PR workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI fundamentals and their practical application to automation.
• Networking fundamentals with exposure to Dell SONiC, Cisco ACI and Arista.
• Demonstrated observability, security practices and incident management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior/lead solution engineer for design, development, and support of network deployment/admin apps.
• Build full-stack services using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React and Kubernetes with IaC.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, drive sprint planning and backlogs to improve velocity.
• Manage source control, branching, and CI/CD to accelerate delivery.
• Perform security reviews and peer code reviews before deployments.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and mentor staff to grow software/infrastructure skills.
• Develop observability through metrics, logs, telemetry and alerting.
