Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Lead on the Exchange team for Institutional.

You will own the network infrastructure, deployment, and tooling behind a unified trading platform spanning cloud and on-prem environments, delivering ultra-low-latency, reliable operations for institutional trading. You will mentor engineers, drive incident response, and collaborate with SRE/Infra, Product, and trading-system teams to improve reliability and developer velocity.

Formación

• 8+ years of network, infrastructure, or SRE experience in latency-sensitive environments.
• Hands-on with multicast networking, BGP, OSPF, VRFs, and low-latency data-center switching.
• Experience leading live incident response for production trading systems and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and network telemetry; strong Linux networking basics.
• Knowledge of exchange or electronic trading concepts; crypto experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own, operate, and optimize ultra-low-latency networks and data-center infra for institutional trading.
• Design and maintain routing, traffic-segmentation, and market-data architectures.
• Deploy and operate firewalls and secure connectivity across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
• Drive observability and automation using Python, Ansible, and telemetry tooling.
• Lead production changes, incident response, and on-call rotation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with SRE/Infra, Product, and trading teams to raise reliability and velocity.
