Biamp Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the enterprise network architecture, overseeing FortiGate platforms, WAN/LAN across multiple sites, and modernization efforts. You will mentor a network engineer and own operations, from incident response to change management, while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The role is part of Biamp's Infrastructure & Operations and partners with IT Architects to drive secure, reliable networks across production and corporate

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong FortiGate/FortiOS firewall experience or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS).
• Experience with multi-site WAN/LAN and security posture.
• Mentorship abilities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to document network designs and changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture decisions for firewalls, switching, routing, segmentation, and WAN.
• Drive modernization projects; core switching upgrades and firewall deployments.
• Own network operations: troubleshooting, capacity planning, change management, incident response.
• Mentor a network engineer; distribute work sustainably.
• Maintain NetBox IPAM and network docs.
• Collaborate with systems and software teams on shared infra initiatives.
• Participate in incident postmortems and change processes.
