Avfuel Corporation seeks a Senior Network Architect to own and modernize our enterprise network across headquarters and ~30 remote sites nationwide. This hands-on leadership role defines architecture, drives infrastructure strategy, and leads execution for scalable and secure network services.

The ideal candidate combines deep Fortinet expertise with strong initiative, ownership, and the ability to guide engineers and contractors. Growth into broader IT leadership is possible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive network engineering/architecture experience.
• Proven enterprise network design and implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on Fortinet expertise across FortiGate, FortiSwitch and FortiManager.
• Experience with Cisco switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Define network architecture, strategy, and roadmaps.
• Lead modernization across HQ and 30 remote locations nationwide.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to engineers/contractors.
• Own vendor selection, lifecycle management, and standards compliance.
• Oversee network performance, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with security to enforce network security and compliance.
