Job summary

Calance seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex enterprise networks. You will own core to edge switching, WAN, data center, and SD-WAN initiatives, documenting configurations, monitoring, and change control.

The role requires 7+ years in large-scale networks, hands-on experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, CIDR, and load balancing, plus strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience with core, distribution, and access switching and data center technologies.
• Experience implementing and supporting SD-WAN environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and documentation proficiency.
• Experience with WAN/LAN architectures and enterprise networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architect, and manage network infrastructure to support business initiatives.
• Monitor network performance and recommend changes/upgrades based on utilization.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects in network and system design.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting assistance to the Network Engineer team.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging networking technologies and trends.
