ZP Group in Frederick, MD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will drive network strategy, scalability, security, automation, and cloud networking initiatives that support digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN technologies, QoS.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise network standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions for enterprise and cloud environments.
• Lead network modernization initiatives including Zero Trust Architecture, SD-WAN, cloud-native networking, and legacy migration.
• Design and support hybrid cloud networking, including Azure hub-and-spoke architectures, routing, and segmentation.
• Drive network automation, IaC, and policy-based networking.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the network team.
