Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior Network Architect to act as the technical authority for statewide enterprise network architecture. The role encompasses strategy, solution design, governance, and leadership across campus, WAN, SD‑WAN, cloud, and data center networking.

The candidate will develop standards, roadmaps, and reference designs supporting security, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives, while mentoring teams and ensuring highly available, resilient networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise network architecture.
• CCIE certification and Cisco expertise.
• Experience with state/federal government networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise network standards and roadmaps.
• Lead design for campus, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud, and data center networking.
• Provide architecture governance and review for major projects.
• Design highly available, secure network solutions for statewide operations.
• Collaborate with security teams on Zero Trust and network segmentation.
• Develop hybrid cloud networking architectures (Azure and beyond).
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
