Job summary

Divers Alert Network, Inc. in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize the enterprise network across HQ, remote offices, cloud, and disaster recovery sites.

You will lead networking projects, mentor junior engineers, maintain high availability, VPNs, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust initiatives, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Networking.
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise network experience.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking (Azure Entra ID).
• Strong knowledge of zero trust and network security.
• Experience leading complex network implementations.
• Experience with disaster recovery networking.
• Excellent communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Manage and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network appliances.
• Administer TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Ensure reliable connectivity for HQ, remote users, branch offices, and cloud resources.
• Monitor network performance and identify capacity constraints or bottlenecks.
• Maintain highly available network architectures with redundancy and failover.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure security standards.
