Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking an experienced network professional in Overland Park, KS to install, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN/MAN infrastructures, wireless networks, and security services. The role emphasizes designing scalable networks and supporting complex connectivity environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
Seven to ten years of network and server device experience.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Must meet age and security requirements for the state.

Responsibilities

Supports LAN/WAN/MAN planning, installation, maintenance and upgrades.
Maintains physical and virtual servers, including planning and upgrades.
Configures and monitors email and security services.
Reviews disaster recovery strategies and documents supported systems.
Designs network infra (physical and virtual) for reliability and cost efficiency.
Develops project plans, time estimates, and timelines.
Attends professional training to stay current with trends.
Provides on-call support and cross-functional coordination.
