Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to lead and execute global network initiatives across a multi-site environment. You will balance hands-on configuration with strategic planning, shaping enterprise architecture and cloud connectivity.

You will mentor the network team, drive automation and AI-enabled monitoring, and ensure secure, resilient network operations aligned with business goals. This on-site role supports Golden, Colorado HQ and IT leadership collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6+ years in network administration.
• Experience with enterprise routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud networking platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong knowledge of network security frameworks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for complex network and telecommunications projects, including multi-site implementations, major upgrades, and cloud/network integrations.
• Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex issues and shape long-term roadmaps with the Global Network Manager.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers for advanced configuration, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Lead planning and execution of large-scale network initiatives, ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and stakeholders are informed.
• Mentor network team members and drive continuous improvement through automation and AI-enabled monitoring.
• Develop, enforce, and maintain network policies, procedures, and configuration standards aligned with security requirements.
