Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Sr. Network Communications - Network Administrator to support classified government contracts on-site.

You will define network roadmaps, lead design and integration of large-scale networks, and coordinate with government customers while mentoring teammates. A Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required and a degree with significant IT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Designing and maintaining complex LAN/WAN networks.
• Experience supporting Video Teleconferencing (VTCs) in classified environments.
• Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (IAT Level II).
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sr. Network Communications activities in support of classified government contracts.
• Define and execute long-term network architecture roadmaps (SDWAN, ZeroTrust, cloud networking).
• Lead design, integration, and implementation of large-scale multidomain networks.
• Serve as a senior liaison to government customers and internal leadership.
• Author, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide network standards and security frameworks.
• Provide advanced monitoring, analysis, and planning for network systems.
• Deliver third-level technical support for complex network issues.
• Mentor junior and experienced team members.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work after hours, and weekends, as needed.
