Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Network Communications professional to support its Classified Solutions team, focusing on secure network design, integration, and sustainment across Azure Government Secret Cloud, AWS Government Secret Cloud, and air-gapped enclaves.

On-site at Melbourne, FL and other locations, the role leads network engineering activities, coordinates with cybersecurity and cloud teams, and ensures mission-critical connectivity for classified environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a DoD 8140/IAT/IAM baseline, typically Security+ or equivalent.
• Experience designing and maintaining LAN/WAN networks; routers, switches, firewalls.
• Active security clearance (Secret or higher) and ability to work in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced network administration, design, hardening, and sustainment of classified networks and cloud enclaves.
• Administer LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and encryption for secure connectivity.
• Lead design, testing, and deployment of network solutions in classified environments.
