Job summary

Northrop Grumman in California is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support lifecycle activities at on-site locations in San Diego, Redondo Beach, or Palmdale.

The role requires a current US Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret access for certain programs. You will design, operate, and manage RMF compliant networks, deploy network management tools, and collaborate with engineers to meet mission objectives while adhering to security requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor/Associate or high school with years of relevant experience as specified.
• Must hold current US Government Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Security+ or greater certification required.
• Experience in network design, architectures and equipment selection.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate and manage RMF compliant classified and unclassified networks.
• Deploy, maintain network management tools and monitor uptime/latency.
• Collaborate with engineers to plan network integration and purchasing.
• Document designs with schematics and maintain system documentation.
