Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and deployment of scalable LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless systems across multiple global sites. You will own device lifecycle, troubleshoot complex infrastructure, and drive security, monitoring, and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include defining architecture standards, leading incident root-cause analyses, and coordinating with Security and Project teams to ensure robust backup and recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP and dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking gear and design/deployment at scale.
• Scripting/automation for infrastructure tasks using Python, Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture standards for LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and wireless across global sites.
• Own configuration, lifecycle, and troubleshooting of routers, firewalls, switches and wireless controllers.
• Design and implement firewall policies, VPNs, segmentation, and Zero-Trust with Security team.
• Define monitoring KPIs and lead root-cause analysis for outages.
• Plan hardware upgrades, patch management, and change/risk assessments.
