Job summary

DigitalOcean seeks a Senior Software Engineer 1 to join the Network Products team. You will write control plane software, develop APIs, troubleshoot, and own parts of the product end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Experience with Go and unit tests.
• Designing and developing high performance systems is desirable.
• Some domain knowledge of Networking stack or willingness to learn.
• Experience with full-stack applications with databases and API.
• Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts.
• Experience with cloud development, containerization and virtualization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: gRPC, Temporal and Kafka experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement, test and optimize new services and tools at scale.
• Collaborate with Networking teams to build next-gen products for developers.
• Support existing products and contribute creative solutions.
• Improve tooling and processes to ship robust, mission-critical components.
