Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with wired/wireless networking, switching, routing, firewalls, NAC, and telecommunications.
• Knowledge of VLANs, WAN connectivity, and network security concepts.
• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Equivalent education/licenses/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, monitor, maintain, and support the University's wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Support telecommunications systems and related technologies
• Analyze and resolve network, security, and communications issues
• Evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions based on industry best practices
• Maintain the security and reliability of network services
• Provide technical expertise for infrastructure planning, projects, and operational initiatives across the University
