Qualifications

• BS or equivalent + 5-7 years directly related experience.
• One or more network certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA A+.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN products (F5, Checkpoint, Citrix Netscaler, Juniper SRX/Junos Space, Cisco Route/Switch).
• Analyze, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, including planning, designing, selecting OS/protocol suites and configuring media with switches/routers/load balancers.
• Resolve interoperability and performance problems across platforms (email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, application processing).
• Support acquisition of hardware/software and subcontractor services as needed.
• Ensure network availability for mission-critical IT service environment.
• Clearly articulate situations to cross-functional teams and clients.
• Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues.
