Job summary

NIHFCU is seeking a senior network administrator to manage Active Directory, Exchange, VMware infrastructure, and day-to-day network, voice, and storage performance for staff and members.

You will monitor CISCO firewalls/routers, lead L3 support, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to security improvements and disaster recovery planning while supporting on-call rotations after hours.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in production IT environments, networking focus.
• Experience with AD, Exchange, and Entra ID administration.
• Knowledge of storage, backup, DR, and security basics.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call support schedules.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows AD, Exchange DAG, SAN storage, and devices.
• Monitor and tune network performance; configure Cisco devices.
• Administer VMware infrastructure for stability and growth.
• Support VOIP systems and backup monitoring.
• Perform threat/vulnerability scanning and risk reduction.
• Maintain documentation of network architecture and configurations.
• Maintain DR/BCP and perform tests; provide L3 vendor coordination.
• Communicate with management and vendors; assist project plans.
