Job summary

Imperial is seeking a Senior NetSuite Engineer to design, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations and integrations. You will work on SuiteScript 2.x, REST/SOAP API integrations, saved searches, workflows, and reports to drive ERP visibility and efficiency.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, support Financials, Order Management, and Inventory modules, and ensure data migration and system maintenance are performed to high

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years NetSuite development experience in a business or consulting environment.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x.
• Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
• Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP modules, including Financials, Order Management, and Inventory.
• Experience with data migration, CSV imports, and system configuration support.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations within NetSuite using SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x.
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Develop and customize saved searches, workflows, dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support business visibility and efficiency.
• Create and maintain custom records, fields, forms, roles, and permissions within the NetSuite environment.
• Develop RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, and scheduled scripts to support automation and business process improvements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver enhancements aligned with business needs.
• Support ERP optimization efforts across modules such as Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and related functional areas.
• Assist with data migration, CSV imports, validation, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, debug scripts and integrations, and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for customizations, integrations, configurations, and development standards.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and development best practices are consistently followed.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We Need
