Job summary

Imperial is seeking a self-directed Shipping Supervisor to oversee outbound operations at our Bourbon, MO facility. You will lead shipping personnel, manage daily workflows, and collaborate with production and customer service to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

You will drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity, with emphasis on NetSuite/ERP accuracy and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse or distribution leadership.
• Experience with WMS systems is required.
• Supervisory experience in a distribution center environment is essential.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Deposo is preferred.
• Strong leadership ability to direct, motivate, and hold a team accountable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outbound shipping activities for domestic and international orders.
• Lead a team of 3 leads and 10-12 direct reports.
• Support Warehouse Manager and cover during absences.
• Maintain shipment accuracy within WMS/ERP systems.
• Track KPIs and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Schedule labor resources to meet daily workload demands.
• Coach and develop team members regularly.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Imperial is in search of a self-directed Shipping Supervisor whowilloversee all outbound shipping operations to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with company, customer, and carrier requirements. This position leads shipping personnel, manages daily workflows, coordinates with production and customer service teams, and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Owndaily shipping activities for domestic and international orders
• Lead and manage a team of 3 leads and 10-12 direct reports
• Serve as a key point of support to the Warehouse Manager, stepping in during absences or whenadditionalcoverage is needed
• Maintain shipment accuracy within WMS and ERP systems
• Track KPIs andidentifyareas for process improvement
• Support cycle count investigations related to shipping errors.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensuretimely,accurateorder fulfillment
• Utilize NetSuite andDeposcoto manage shipping and inventory processes
• Schedule labor resources to meet daily workload demands
• Conduct regular coaching and development conversations with team members
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Follow and enforce all company policies

WHAT WE NEED

• 3+ Years of Warehouse/distribution experiencerequired
• WMS experiencerequired
• Supervisory experience in a distribution center environmentrequired
• Experience with NetSuite and/orDeposcopreferred
• Strong leadership presence able to direct, motivate, and hold a team accountable under pressure
• Knowledge of parcel, LTL, FTL, and international shipping processes
• High levelof ownership and flexibility willing and able to step up as needed
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or workstation
• Ability to use hands and fingers tooperatestandard office equipment, including computers, phones, and keyboards
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
• Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to move throughout the facility, including walking, bending, and reaching as needed
• Visual acuity sufficient to read screens, documents, and reports
