Job summary

Imperial in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Senior NetSuite Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the NetSuite ERP platform. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to drive ERP optimization.

Responsibilities include building integrations via SuiteTalk, REST, and SOAP, developing saved searches, workflows, and dashboards, and ensuring data migrations and system maintenance follow best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years NetSuite development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of NetSuite ERP modules (Financials, Order Management, Inventory).
• Solid JavaScript and web tech knowledge.
• Experience with data migration/CSV imports.

• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems with SuiteTalk/REST/SOAP.

• Develop RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce, and scheduled scripts.

We are seeking a skilled Senior NetSuite Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the NetSuite ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SuiteScript, integrations, and ERP customization, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

WhatYou’llbe Doing

• Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations within NetSuite usingSuiteScript1.0 and 2.x
• Build andmaintainintegrations between NetSuite and third-party systems usingSuiteTalk, REST, and SOAP APIs
• Develop and customize saved searches, workflows, dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support business visibility and efficiency
• Create andmaintaincustom records, fields, forms, roles, and permissions within the NetSuite environment
• DevelopRESTlets,Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, and scheduled scripts to support automation and business process improvements
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver enhancements aligned with business needs
• Support ERP optimization efforts across modules such as Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and related functional areas
• Assistwith data migration, CSV imports, validation, and ongoing system maintenance
• Troubleshoot system issues, debug scripts and integrations, and implement sustainable resolutions
• Maintain clear documentation for customizations, integrations, configurations, and development standards
• Ensure system security, compliance, and development best practices are consistently followed

What We Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
• 3+ years of NetSuite development experience in a business or consulting environment
• StrongproficiencyinSuiteScript2.x
• Experience withSuiteCloudDevelopment Framework (SDF)
• Experience integrating NetSuite with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP modules, including Financials, Order Management, and Inventory
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and related web technologies
• Experience with data migration, CSV imports, and system configuration support
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite certifications such asSuiteFoundation, Administrator, orSuiteCloudDeveloper
• Experience with middleware platforms such asCeligo, Boomi, or MuleSoft
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL
• Experience developing Advanced PDF/HTML templates
• Experience working in Agile or fast‑paced cross‑functional environments
