Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on high voltage power systems. The role involves leading testing on equipment up to 500kV, analyzing results, and delivering comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

NETA III/IV certification current and in good standing.
7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
Expert knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards.
Proficiency with test equipment: Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, SKF.
Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based).
Interpret and analyze test results; author engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
Mentor and train Level I/II technicians in the field.
