Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to supervise complex electrical investigations, set up test equipment, and produce detailed reports. You will interact with engineers and managers, perform troubleshooting, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in the field, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably a NETA Level 4 certification, with strong MS Office and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a 4-year technical college degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in field service or electrical testing.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred; OSHA 30-hour/MSHA/NFPA 70-E/CPR etc. certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements and document results.
• Lead project activities and supervise NETA field technicians to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with engineers and managers; manage reports and follow-up actions.
• Travel up to 50% and work in varied environments; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
