Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) in the United States (Virginia area) to supervise projects, perform complex electrical tests, and interact with engineers and managers. The role includes testing de-energized equipment, setting up test equipment, and preparing reports. Travel up to 50% and strong documentation skills are required.

The job emphasizes safety, compliance with electrical standards, and collaboration across teams; prior NETA 4 and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 4 preferred.
• 10+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complex tests and measurements; collect and record data accurately.
• Lead and manage projects; supervise NETA field technicians; troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Write and review detailed reports on test results; ensure timely submission.
• Additional responsibilities to support organizational goals.
